Tutorial : Isis Bracelet

Tutorial : Isis

 Materials

- 40 pcs. Crystal Bicone 4mm - Color A - Hyacinth 2X
- 76pcs. Crystal Bicone 4mm - Color B - Purple Velvet 2X
- 18pcs. Pearl Round 4mm - Creamrose
- Approx 3g. Miyuki Rocailles 11/0 - #4202 Duracoat Gold
- Jumprings and Clasp
- Monofilament Beading Thread (0.25mm). (more info in this tutorial.)

You can substitute crystal bicones or pearls to fire polished beads or any round beads. Just use 4mm.

1.

Cut the thread around one wing span of your arms (or just your comfortable length). Pick up alternate pattern of [crystal bicone color A, and 11/0 seed bead] 4 times, total of eight beads.

Cross the threads at the first bicone A (red arrow). Adjust your beadwork to be in the middle of your thread.

 Pick up 11/0 and crystal bicone color B to each thread. Cross both threads at 11/0 (red arrow).

Pick up bicone B and 11/0 to each thread. Cross both threads at bicone A (red arrow).

Pick up 11/0, bicone A and 11/0 to each thread. Cross both threads at bicone A (red arrow).

Repeat step 2 - 4 until you reach the desired length.

Please note that the final step will make the bracelet shrink a little, around 1 cm or half inch.

When you get to the end, just cross your threads at bicone A and 11/0s (red arrows).

7.

Pick up 11/0, bicone B, 11/0, bicone B and 11/0. Pass your thread to 11/0 (red arrows). Do the same to both threads.

Cross both threads at bicone A (blue arrow). Pull your threads snugly.

8.

Pass your thread to the next 11/0 (red arrows). Pick up 11/0, pearl and 11/0. Pass through 11/0 (blue arrows). Do the same to both threads.

Cross both threads at bicone A (green arrow).

9.

When you pull your threads snugly, those pearls will go under and the crystals will lift up.

This will be the same as step 7. Pass through the next 11/0 (red arrows). Pick up 11/0, bicone B, 11/0, bicone B and 11/0. Pass through 11/0 (blue arrows). Do the same to other thread.

Cross both threads at bicone A (green arrow). Repeat step 8 - 9.

10.

 Add jumprings and clasp.

Finished! 

 This is the other colorway, my first try with this design.
- 40 pcs. Crystal Bicone 4mm - Color A - Erinite
- 76pcs. Crystal Bicone 4mm - Color B - Lavender
- 18pcs. Pearl Round 4mm - White
- Approx 2g. Miyuki Rocailles 11/0 - #4201 Duracoat Silver
- Approx 1g. Miyuki Roncailles 15/0 - #412FR  Matte Opaque Turquoise Green *

* I used 15/0 in step 7 and 8. and the bracelet will shrink a lot more than using all 11/0s.
